Johannes Gutenberg

Johannes Gutenberg is credited as the father of the Age of Information and several religious reforms as well as political reforms and is called the most important person in the past 1,000 years.Born in 1395, he was an inventor who eventually created a movable type printer. The first book he ever printed on his printing press was the "42-line" Bible. The Bible would go on to become the most published book in history, and Gutenberg's invention would become the fuel that sustained the Protestant reformation and beyond. This method of ready access of information revolutionized the world.
