Leonardo da Vinci was arguably the most famous artist of the Renaissance. Born in 1452, Da Vinci was interested in art from a young age itself. He soon became a famous artist and recieved many patronages. He was considered the "Renaissance Man", or someone with a number of various achievements and interests. His achievements ranged from painting and drawing to anatomy and physiology. The unique symbolism and style of his artwork as well as his talents in many fields make him one of the most important men in all of the Renaissance.
